Blencowe looking forward to Oulton Park

Alan is looking forward to gaining a few podiums at Oulton Park, after experiencing a lack of power with his racecar at the last two rounds of the Championship.

"Jonny has done well to maintain his lead, but after having to sacrifice places at Thruxton, due to a fault outside of our teams control, and experiencing problems at Croft, we believe the car is back on form and we’re all wanting to get back into winning races and challenging other drivers!"

Alan is racing with Triple R, winners of the SEAT Cupra Championship in 2005 and the same team that led Alan to his first SEAT Cupra victory last year and subsequent win at Rockingham in May this year.

"The car has the strength to win races - we proved that at Rockingham - and we’re a lot happier with the way that its running now. We’re all working hard towards Oulton Park and after last week’s testing we believe that we have finally found the fault with the car, but only time will tell and testing at Oulton Park will hopefully put our theories into practice."

Behind the scenes: In order for Alan to prepare for Oulton Park, he is working hard with his personal trainer, Colin Fricker, Fitness by Design to maintain his physique and high fitness levels to cope with the demands of racing.

Alan’s sponsor, Pinchbeck SEAT, displayed his racecar at Wilton House over the weekend, which received a lot of interest.
